About this role
You have a minimum of B.Sc. within engineering and/or economics, such as industrial engineering or equivalent. M.Sc. degree is considered an advantage. This is combined with a minimum of 5 years’ experience from similar work tasks within the area of Field Operations, site management, and project management or similar. You have knowledge within basic export contract types and set-up, and solid experience from and fluent handling of MS Office software, primarily excel. Additional experience from the area of site management, installation or commissioning of HVDC stations and projects and/or from tender work is an advantage. You are a highly motivated and self-driven individual who enjoys working in teams, towards common goals. You are social and straightforward, with excellent abilities to combine your theoretical skills with a pragmatic approach to deliver results. Fluency in English both spoken and written, other languages is a plus, and an interest in working in an international environment is a must. Your main task will be to lead all on-site activities of a project, to assure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements during the start-up, construction and/or erection, commissioning, and maintenance phases. You will also serve as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, as well as other local organizations, such as authorities, banks, and suppliers to ensure their active support of field activities.
