As SNP’s specialist regarding multi-discipline conceptual plant engineering you will support the SNP’s management team in decision making. • You support Strategic Asset Management for Ringhals, Forsmark, OKG, Barsebäck and SKB regarding business related issues. • You will establish and maintain a platform for recommendations within plant engineering and design, by means of ad-hoc investigations and analyses. In this field you will cooperate with and support of the Boil Water Reactor and Pressurized Water Reactor Technology Lead. • You shall evaluate proposed conceptual plant design in SNP’s investment process including risk assessment regarding safety and regulations. • You ensure the transfer, development and retention of knowledge and specialist competence within the field. • You will identify and apply relevant international changes in the industry that are likely to affect also the SNP’s plants. You have a strong analytical mindset and willingness to drive performance and change including planning and prioritization in order to fulfill the established goals. You have the ability to see the big picture and find a pragmatic approach. You are a team player with strong willingness to work in an international environment. • You are preferably PhD or Licentiates of Engineering or at the minimum Master of Science within Applied Physics, Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. • You have minimum 10 years of experience from advanced analyses and engineering within the field of nuclear technology • You have substantial knowledge in regulations for the Swedish nuclear industry and skills regarding the application of globally gained experiences in the field • You are fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English As we aim for an even gender distribution, we would like to see female applicants for this position. As SNP’s specialist regarding multi-discipline conceptual plant engineering you will support the SNP’s management team in decision making. You will keep up-to-date on the development of safety requirements, both nationally and internationally. You will review and assess the consequences from such requirements on the plants’ existing design.You represent SNP in relevant national and international working groups for plant design, common for the nuclear industry. You will also initiate the establishment of forums aiming at securing continuous operation. • You support Strategic Asset Management for Ringhals, Forsmark, OKG, Barsebäck and SKB regarding business related issues. • You will establish and maintain a platform for recommendations within plant engineering and design, by means of ad-hoc investigations and analyses.
