Job Requirements This role requires excellent skills in telecommunication / 3GPP 4G & 5G specifications as well as in lab, instruments and Ericsson base station products. The work will require you to have a testers mindset in a technology heavy, cutting edge development environment. Apart from the technical skills, your ability to give energy and explain technology matters will be key. Required qualifications Education: Master of Science or PhD within the field of Applied Physics, Electric Engineering, Wireless communication or Computer Science Deep technology interest Social and outgoing Innovating, adapting and responding to change Delivering results and meeting customer expectations Deep competence working with signal generators and building labs Long experience within test within radio communication Experience in using at least one programming language Preferred qualifications. What we offer you You will be part of an organization with responsibility from test studies to test reporting of performance test of new functionality and products. The teams do test analysis, test design, test execution, troubleshooting and test result reporting of the physical layer software. Tests are done using signal generators and a Java environment. As a baseband performance tester you will Work in a team according to agile principals sharing the same goals Be very active in requirement analysis and break down to test tasks Write new and update existing test cases in Java Do hands-on lab work Do, mainly automated, test execution Perform advanced troubleshooting activities Report test results Initiate and drive improvements in ways of working and in our test product. PDU 4G5G PD Baseband in Lund are strengthening the organization with several developer positions for physical layer test / baseband performance test! Together with us you will develop cutting edge software for 5G Baseband and be part of delivering a world class Mobile Broadband. We have a feature end-to-end responsibility covering architecture, design and verification as well as supporting the customer roll out. Development areas we are focusing on right now is 5G high band and 5G mid band together with Massive MIMO and Advanced Antenna system.
