Your mission – Managing a fit-for-purpose long-term portfolio to ensure successful business development As Architect for Application Portfolio Management, you have full responsibility for visualization, transparency and relationships in building the bridge between IT and the business. In this position, you work to enable the translation of business requirements into IT solutions, by presenting and managing an IT portfolio repository that you are responsible for. By interacting with stakeholders, you map business requirements into technology solutions, review the current IT landscape and seek ways to leverage, improve and/or extend corporate investments. Through continuous development and maintenance of the IT portfolio repository roadmap, you tailor the solutions to fit all aspects of Sandvik’s business and IT, and you always act to enable successfully implemented solutions. Providing technical guidance in the design and implementation of IT solutions in support of business needs and strategy is also an important part of your job.
