Your character – An outstanding people-person and business minded doer We are looking for someone with strong technical skills with a degree in Engineering. You have at least five years’ experience from a production environment, where additional experience from EHS and automation is advantageous. You have several years’ experience from a managerial position where you have proven successful in work involving change management and stakeholder management, preferably also from a management group. As we operate in an international setting, you are also fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. We are now looking for a confident and coaching Production Manager to join us in Sandviken – someone who wants to develop the business in our continual advancement and objective to remain a world-leading and attractive competitor on the market. Your mission – Develop first-class production for a sustainable, profitable and effective business As Production Manager, you are the one who takes a stable production entity to the next level with smart solutions and continuous improvements. You are responsible for leading and coordinating the work of managers and specialists to reach our common business and functional goals. As process owner for installed and planned capacity you develop and implement manufacturing schedules, allocate resources, analyze problems and recommend solutions to improve performance. You also plan and manage production line maintenance and downtimes to minimize disruptions. Through your active work with continuous improvements, you always aim to increase our productivity, reduce lead times and costs. Responsibility for EHS is also an important part of your job. Leading a team of experienced supervisors, and as an active member of the management team, you liaise with functional and operational area managers to understand their current and future product needs - integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities.
