Your character – A driven sourcing specialist with the ability to drive progress with others We are looking for someone with a degree in Engineering or Direct Material, where additional financial knowledge or experience is beneficial. You have at least five years’ experience within strategic sourcing or direct purchasing, as well as experience from working in a global matrix organization and managing cross-functional teams and complex products and services. Good know how in cost breakdown or raw materials and forgings is considered a plus. As we work in an international setting, you also communicate effortlessly in English, both verbally and in writing, and skills in Swedish are beneficial. We are now looking for a Site Sourcing Leader for Direct Material at Production Unit (PU) Sandviken to join us in a strategic role in a changing environment. Your mission – Promoting successful sourcing initiatives to meet customer and business expectations In this position, you are responsible for creating a sourcing organization for Rock Tools’ PU Sandviken with the right competence and setting, developing local sourcing strategies and implementing plans to meet customer demands. You lead our improvement initiatives, manage and coordinate all sourcing activities within the team and coach the team to increase overall purchasing performance. Leading and participating in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities are parts of your mission, and you are also accountable for creating, negotiating, implementing and following up on contracts for our suppliers and managing their onboarding. In collaboration with your colleagues, you ensure best-in-class sourcing and reach performance targets set by the Rock Tools Sourcing Manager.
