About this role
We are looking for candidates with extensive knowledge in meeting management from large scale organisations. For this role we prefer to see that you have at least five years of experience within meetings area in a multinational context. As a Meeting Leader you need to have knowledge in creating and implementing meeting strategies within large-scale organisations and knowledge of digital systems to support meeting management. You are constantly exploring new ways of how one can integrate the meeting agenda in to the business with the organisational values close at heart. As a person, you can keep focused in an agile and constantly changing environment. You have great communication skills and the ability to influence authority and proactively co-operate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors. We want to see someone that is great at building relationships and create trust and that can manage strategic as well as operational challenges. We are looking for a global business leader to lead the future development of the meeting culture and structure for the INGKA Group to drive business growth, develop our people, collaboration and engagement, with focus on our overall objectives for Meetings & Travel; efficiency, health and wellbeing, safety and security, sustainability and lower cost. The assignment also involves supporting business requirements and efficient implementation of meeting services and solutions in close collaboration with our global team and network of Meeting & Travel leaders and specialists. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be to; • As part of the Centre of Expertise for Meeting & Travel at INGKA Group define, design and share the INGKA Meeting framework and approach in line with market trends, latest developments and best practices. • Lead the development and implementation of the meeting culture and structure for both face-to-face and virtual meetings and trainings for leaders, coworkers and teams. • Benchmark global best-in-class practices to seek avenues to enhance leadership and learning capabilities, cost savings and efficiency in meetings. • Lead the monitoring of all markets, to secure they are in line with and manage the execution of the mandatory elements of Meeting & Travel policies & rules. • Contribute to internal organizational wide regular communication of the INGKA Meeting & Travel program aimed at timely providing co-workers and business leaders with updated information. • Explore and support implementation of digital tools and solutions that can enhance the meeting experience. • Lead the decision making of the most suitable vendors to support INGKA within the meeting framework, culture, structure, planning and design areas. • Contribute to manage data metrics to track supplier/vendor performance and cost effectiveness of meeting programs.
