What you bring We are looking for an adaptive team player, who enjoy working with others, exchanging ideas and opinions. A person with attention to details, who are comfortable in his/her field and can share knowledge in a logical and confident way to others. Your previous experience is probably within data extraction and transformation from My-SQL, MSSQL, NoSQL, logs and more, using tools such as Python and Splunk. You also have experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash where you have optimized SQL. We would like you to be savvy at Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Data Warehouse where you easily pinpoint bottlenecks and perform configurations. On top of that you preferably have knowledge of big data best practices in areas such as data architecture, dimensional data modeling, IoT analytics and Master Data Management (MDM). If you understand Cloud Services pricing and how to cut costs, it’s highly meriting. To succeed in the role, it is important that you have a holistic view and a great sense of business understanding. You should easily adapt to new situations and information and be able to communicate across all levels. As an Analytics Data Architect & Developer you will have a central part in our Analytics & Insights (A&I) team. You will lead and implement the definition of our structured ‘Designed for Analytics’ data warehouse. With responsibilities such as extracting and transforming multiple and complex operational data sources and formats. Your role will be both strategic and hands-on development and implementation. You will create the foundation for the next generation, provide business insights to improve customer experiences, business growth and end-to-end platform performance. Specific competence areas you will continuously touch base with is A&I Data Warehouse Developers, Analysts, Data Scientists, Quality Engineers, IT Operations and various R&D team members. You will use your innovation, programming and problem-solving skills, to build and maintain modular, reliable and performant data sets used by the A&I team and other stakeholders. Where you find the most effective ways to extract, clean and organize complex data, mined from a variety of sources, covering the entire business and customer lifecycle. You will be based in Malmö at our biggest R&D Hub, our bright and open office space is just a 5-minute walk from the Central Station. The position reports to the head of the A&I team. Occasionally, you may need to travel to Linköping or other Verisure sites in Europe such as Madrid or Geneva.
