Full Time Fixed Term - 3 months contractThis position is based in GirraweenThe Warehouse Assistant role is responsible for ensuring that all samples effectively pass through the laboratory in an orderly fashion, that they are easily accessible by laboratory staff, and that they are removed from refrigeration and put in storage or disposed of once completed.
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the role will focus on:
Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatchEnsure compliance with WHS requirements, safe work practices, and company policiesMaintain accurate stock levels and inventory records using the ERP systemUse the ERP system to manage goods receipt, stock movements, purchase orders, traceability, and reportingLiaise with suppliers to identify products, confirm specifications, resolve supply issues, and support procurement activitiesWork closely with internal stakeholders (operations, laboratories, logistics, finance) to align warehouse activities with business needsEnsure timely availability of consumables and materials to support operational demandMaintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping and organisation Manual Handling Certificate (desirable)Fork Lifting LicensePrevious experience in procurement systems like Coupa or similar (highly desirable)About You
