You have knowledge of: • how consumer acts, feels and behaves in a retail environment to apply the insights in the shopping experience design in all touch points • the possibilities to activate sales and the use of the commercial calendar and relevant associated store activities • all products and services types that IKEA offers and sells to customers • how to steer the customer to right product or service for their need across channels • how to identify and realise opportunities for add-ons, cross-selling and up-selling of IKEA products and services to fulfil customer needs • IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure right representation • how to apply industry trends, outlooks and emerging technologies to achieve organisational goals and objectives We believe you have 5 years of experience working with Sales or Customer Experience/Support. Moreover, you have experience with sales in multichannel customer journeys. You demonstrate strong IKEA leadership skills, by using sound judgements to make timely and effective decisions. You have proven advanced training in Marketing, Sales, Business Management or equivalent. You will optimise sales, gross margin and profit within a specific core area, and support the markets accordingly, to enable for extraordinary growth. You will: • be responsible for optimising sales, gross margin and profit within a specific core area by optimising sales priorities and commercial activities • ensure an understanding of the IKEA business and range priorities, the market, competition and consumers’ living situations • provide constructive, honest feedback to shopkeepers on how they can improve the shopping experience for the customers in a specific core area • analyse current trends, predict and optimise current and future commercial opportunities in a core area in a close working partnership with the markets, ‘Customer & Consumer Insights’ (Market Support) and IIS • support the markets in their drive to sell their volume commitments, monitoring their sales results and following up on deviations in order to improve poor performance and share good examples for a specific core area • support the business growth by contributing to the One IKEA BPL with the core area expertise • support markets with strategic guidance, ways of working, and tools for the specific core area • work across functions within INGKA Group and in good collaboration with other IKEA businesses This role is located in Malmö and you will report to the Sales Steering & Activation Manager.
