About this role
Analytical Chemist, Large Molecule responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supports protein/antibody products by applying a variety of GMP analytical methodologies.Performs experiments, data processing, and presents results to internal departments and in technical reports.Communicates scientific findings, provides status updates on assigned tasks in one-on-one discussions and within the project team and department meetings.Contributes to the functions of the laboratory including ordering, organization, chemical and equipment monitoring, and maintenance. The ideal candidate would possess:
Experience with size exclusion chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, capillary isoelectric focusing methods. Knowledge on Empower is required.Strong problem-solving and instrument trouble-shooting skillStrong understanding of GMP regulations.Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to write and review SOPs, technical reports.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in chemistry, biology, or other related degree concentrationAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship indefinitely.
2 - 4 years of relevant experience Position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Berkeley, CA are encouraged to apply.
