At Rocks Tools, Production Unit (PU) Sandviken, we have a Logistics department with responsibility for ensuring that our materials supply meet customer demands regarding lead times and satisfaction. We are now looking for a Tactical Purchaser to join our team – someone who enjoys working with a broad network of both internal and external contacts and who wants to contribute with knowledge to our purchasing processes. Your mission – Ensuring effectiveness and value in our supply of indirect materials As Tactical Purchaser, you maintain and manage a portfolio of suppliers of indirect materials. An important part of your job is to actively cooperate and create excellent relationships with our suppliers, and you continually identify improvements and develop our processes to ensure high performance. Balancing costs on the one hand, and service levels on the other, is a daily challenge in your mission to ensure success in our cooperation with other internal functions. Other responsibilities in your job •Managing supplier forecasts and taking action when needed •Identifying and implementing projects to enable cost savings and increase value •Collaborating with Sourcing concerning contract negotiations and strategies •Ensuring compliance in our internal purchasing policies, as well as with ethical standards, relevant laws and regulations Your character – A structured people person with an eye for details We are looking for someone with at least two years’ experience of tactical purchase in a larger corporation with distinct processes and frameworks. You are used to working with tools for purchasing and have previously managed supplier contracts. A relevant education within the field is advantageous. As we act locally as well as on a global stage, you are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Your personality is important to us. You enjoy analyzing facts and base your decisions on the information you find, always keeping the success of our business in mind.
