You are expected to be able to plan and drive your own work, but also drive teams to reach common goals. We are now looking for Experienced System Engineers for 5G RAN. At RAN System Management, Ericsson’s 5G Visions are turned in to reality. We are now further accelerating our efforts to bring 5G to the market and to support this we are looking for additional Experienced System Engineers. There are opportunities for several interesting and challenging tasks, such as driving studies of different new RAN functions, developing and using advanced simulators, acting as bridge to design and verification, taking responsibility for a specific technical area, and engaging in various customer support activities. Our unit drives the work in technical areas for 5G such as radio resource management, advanced antenna systems, massive MIMO, beamforming, Internet-of-Things (IoT) adaptations and other emerging technologies. We lead the analysis and specification of new radio network features, engage in 3GPP standardization, develop and use simulators to optimize signal processing algorithms, collect and analyze data from customer networks, perform troubleshooting and different market support activities.
