You have an eagerness to create trust and you build partnerships with all your interdependencies. . About the job As a Category Area Manager you will strengthen category based sourcing. Through an active supplier management you will capture innovation contributing to the overall business development of IKEA group. You will always strive for synergies and volumes developing a global sourcing strategy that is at any time market relevant. You will be strongly interlinked with the relevant IKEA group functions contributing and giving input to their business plans and securing aligned objectives and priorities. Through your work and responsibilities you will be a key contributor in influencing operational and capital expenses of the IKEA group. As a leader you will be responsible to build competence throughout the organisation on all capabilities demanded by category based sourcing. IKEA is a world leader in the home furnishing business.
