Eurofins PSS is seeking a Drug Product Formulation Scientist to permanently work at a client site to support drug product formulation, biophysical characterization, and process development for gene therapy research. The successful employee will thrive in a high throughput environment, working with small-scale drug product manufacturing process development and scale-up activities.
Position Responsibilities:
Drug product formulation, delivery, and process development activities in support of AAV gene therapy research in a small-scale manufacturing facilityUtilize biophysical characterization techniques, administration, and instrumentationAnalytical characterization via operation and troubleshooting of HPLC, HIAC, HALO, and other instrumentation on raw materials and drug productsCollaborate with multiple teams throughout study timelineData analysis, interpretation, reporting, and presentation Basic Minimum Qualifications:
BS in a life sciences discipline (Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.) with at least a year of pharmaceutical industry experience utilizing HPLCAbility to understand and follow report protocols and coordinate with multiple cross-functional teamsMust be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in drug product formulation, delivery, and process developmentExperience with HIAC and HAOL is highly preferredExperience with biophysical characterization techniques (XRD, DLS, DSC, etc.) The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.
