The Central Customs department is a part of Group Tax, and we support all Swedish units in the management of imports and exports. We are now looking for an attentive Customs Administrator with great coordinating skills to join us in Sandviken, in helping us achieve our primary mission: to ensure high quality information, knowledge transfer and cost efficiency in processes related to customs, laws and regulations. Your mission As Customs Administrator, you support Swedish legal entities with import and export declarations and other customs-related issues. You ensure that accurate information is provided to the Swedish Customs Authorities (Tullverket), and that Sandvik acts in compliance with laws and regulations. You receive and check the documentation needed to declare goods for internal customers and submit import and export declarations to customs authorities. You also ensure that declarations contain all necessary information and request missing information when needed. Sharing your insights with others is an essential part of your daily routine, and as a driven individual, you continually strive to develop your own understanding of the field by finding and filling any knowledge gaps in your area of expertise Your character We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant field of studies and at least three years’ experience from working with customs-related issues. Experience from administrative assignments is key in being successful in this position. As we operate both locally and in a global environment, you have excellent skills in both English and Swedish, verbally and in writing. We place great value on your passion and personality, characterized by your exceptional attention to detail and good organizational skills.
