To our small and dynamic team at Rock Tools in Sandviken, we are now looking for an EHS Specialist to a broad role where you work with Lean methods to improve and streamline our EHS processes. Your mission – contribute to a safer workplace by increasing awareness and improving processes In your role as EHS Specialist for PU Sandviken, you are an active member of the management team, and work in close cooperation with the PU Manager, department managers and production staff. You also act as coordinator and represent BU Rock Tools and Supply in our global EHS team, where you set, follow up on and support the target business objectives. You are responsible for the EHS management system, and with the objective to reach a state of zero harm, you facilitate the continuous development of our procedures. The role also includes participating in EHS audits, managing our hazard and incident reporting and following up on actions after incidents, and by contributing with your knowledge in internal projects, you support the organization in internal projects to find synergies to establish and implement best practices. Lastly, you ensure that assignments are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, standards and overall business goals – always with continuous improvements in mind. Your character - a driven EHS specialist with great people skills and a productive approach We are looking for someone with a relevant degree, for example in Environmental Health Engineering, as well as a solid background in leading and driving EHS matters on all levels. Preferably you also have experience from a global organization and from working with change management within EHS. Extensive knowledge of EHS management systems is also important, as well as experience from systematic EHS work, safety legislation within the manufacturing field, license conditions and environmental matters. As we act on the global stage, you need to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing. Your personality makes us better! You are a result-oriented people person with the ability to work independently and lead transformation. You are also an exceptional team player, and with your great communication skills, you effectively reach out to others, adjusting information to suit your target audience.
