Network Services, part of Enterprise Services, is responsible for all global network services delivery within Sandvik. This includes accountability in the areas of design, development and operation. We are now looking for a Network Service Operation Manager to strengthen our team – an exciting opportunity for you to be part of building the next generation network for Sandvik Group. This position is located in Sandviken or Kista. Your mission In this position, you are responsible for the daily operation of our global network services. You lead the development of our future network, supporting more than 500 sites in over 100 countries, by ensuring that we achieve agreed service levels. You contribute to the development of new services and demand management, as well as senior stakeholder management and interaction with our network suppliers. Furthermore, you are the point of contact for both internal and external clients in all matters related to the service. You also ensure that all work processes are maintained and kept up-to-date, while driving and implementing continual service improvements. Your character We are looking for someone with a degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent qualification gained from working. You have at least five years’ experience from working in a similar environment, and you are passionate about managing the development and changes for the next generation of networking. Extensive experience from LAN, WAN, MPLS, IPVPN an SD-WAN is required, and you have knowledge of ITIL principles and are good at writing technical specifications, business cases and financial justifications. As we work in a global setting, you communicate fluently in both written and verbal English.
