About this role
As a Sales Executive – Farmer within the SIXT Van & Truck team, you will be responsible for managing, retaining and growing a portfolio of existing corporate accounts. Your focus is on deepening relationships, maximising revenue through cross-selling and upselling, and ensuring customers are fully activated across SIXT's Van & Truck product suite.
This is a relationship-driven, revenue-accountable role sitting at the heart of SIXT's commercial vehicle growth ambition.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Revenue Growth
Own and manage a defined portfolio of existing B2B corporate accounts in the Van & Truck segmentDrive revenue growth through proactive cross-sell and upsell of SIXT V&T products (Short-Term, Long-Term Classic, Long-Term Fleet, SIXT+)Conduct regular account reviews to monitor revenue performance, usage trends and customer satisfactionIdentify and develop new commercial opportunities within the existing customer baseEnsure timely rate renewals and contract extensions in line with discount approval frameworksCustomer Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate accountsBuild and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with key stakeholders (fleet managers, procurement, logistics leads)Conduct structured review calls and meetings (categorised as Review Call, Review Meeting, or Relationship Building activities in Salesforce)Proactively manage complaints and escalations in line with the Complaint Management processDeliver a premium service experience consistent with SIXT's brand standardsProduct & Portfolio Enablement
Introduce and sell additional services such as racking systems, vehicle livery/stickers, interior protection, and equipment packagesEducate customers on Van & Truck product benefitsCollaborate with Sales Support to ensure seamless operational support for accountsSalesforce & Reporting
Accurately log all customer interactions, account activities and pipeline updates in SalesforceMaintain up-to-date account and contact recordsProvide regular reporting on on rents, deal pipeline and customer healthUse reporting tools to monitor account-level Van & Truck revenue (filterable by car/truck)Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with the Van & Truck HQ team on complex deals, pricing approvals and CEP/seasonal peak requirementsPartner with the Tender & Implementation and Negotiators teams on key account renewalsCoordinate with Customer Service for complaint resolutionsLiaise with the creditworthiness/finance team on security deposit requirements for high-volume accountsTarget Customer Segments
You will manage accounts across industries with high commercial vehicle demand, including:
Courier, Express & Parcel (CEP) services (e.g. DHL, Amazon Logistics)Construction and real estate / facility managementTrade fair and events sectorAgriculture (seasonal fleet requirements)Transport, logistics and freightFilm and media productionCraft trades and installation servicesFleet management companiesWhat You'll Bring
Proven B2B account management or sales experience, ideally within fleet, logistics, mobility or commercial vehicle sectorsStrong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targetsExperience managing corporate accounts with complex stakeholder structuresConfident communicator with the ability to engage at all levels – from fleet coordinator to C-suiteProficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)Ability to conduct effective demand analysis conversations and translate customer needs into tailored SIXT solutionsSelf-motivated, organised and comfortable working in a target-driven environmentKnowledge of commercial vehicle products, vehicle categories and fleet management is a plusWhat SIXT Offers
