To a position where you get to influence and define the next generation of IT solutions in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) area, we are now looking for a PLM Systems Professional. Your mission In this position, you are the bridge between our Product Management and R&D departments and the world of IT systems. By interacting with the business, you understand and transform the demands of our Product Management Lifecycles into successful IT solutions - focusing mainly on SAP - and you recommend appropriate systems alternatives and improvements to our current applications. You also understand the foundation of IT development and what is possible to achieve, and you stay updated regarding new technological solutions introduced to the market. Linking the right resources, you make things happen; and as you balance your role between a business point of view and the small details connected to IT development, you ensure that we do our very best to support the overall digital journey of Sandvik Coromant. The location for this position is somewhat flexible, but to be able to work close to our business we do prefer if you are located in Sandviken. Join a great place to work! Your profile We are looking for someone with a relevant academic education, perhaps within IT development, or with similar experience gained from a working career. Your background is formed in the field of IT, but to be successful in this position, you also need an understanding of Product Lifecycle Management, along with skills in PLM-systems and SAP. Our ideal candidate is used to transforming business demands into tailored and detailed IT solutions and has core knowledge of programming and configuration.
