The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Strategic Account Lead to drive growth across a portfolio of high-value customers. You’ll play a key role in the UK’s journey to Net Zero, working with some of the UK’s largest and most complex organisations. What You’ll Be Doing

Own and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, delivering revenue, margin and long-term valueWin new business and expand existing customers through direct sales and third-party intermediaries (TPIs)Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and EDF ambassadorUse insight-led, consultative selling to identify opportunities and develop tailored customer solutionsLead complex commercial activity, including account planning, contracts, renewals and multi-service growthWork cross-functionally to deliver customer outcomes and drive performanceStay informed on market trends and identify opportunities to grow metering and data servicesWho You Are

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you will bring:

Strong experience in metering and data services, with knowledge of the metering journey essentialA proactive, “hunter” mindset with a track record of winning and growing businessExperience working with large or complex B2B customersStrong commercial awareness and consultative selling skillsConfidence building relationships at a senior level (customers, brokers and partners)Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead across virtual teamsIf you’re a commercially driven account leader who enjoys building relationships and delivering growth, we’d love to hear from you.

Pay, Benefits and Culture

The role is location‑flexible and can be carried out remotely. Most of the wider team is based in either London or Exeter. However, you must be willing to travel nationwide in this role where required.
