About this role

As the Technical Services Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role supporting both team leaders and specialists, ensuring the successful delivery of operational and project outcomes. You’ll be responsible for aligning maintenance strategies with business objectives, customer expectations, and asset management best practices—including progression toward ISO 55001 principles.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role where your expertise will directly influence asset reliability, lifecycle performance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Asset Management and Planning & Scheduling teamsEnsure maintenance strategies, work management processes, and compliance activities support contractual deliveryDrive alignment with business P&L targets while meeting customer expectationsDevelop key asset management frameworks including:Strategic Asset Management Plans (SAMPs)Asset Management Plans (AMPs)Lifecycle cost models and capital works programsConduct asset criticality and risk assessmentsProvide expert technical advice on asset ownership obligationsOversee and optimise CMMS and ERP systems for asset and facilities managementEmbed consistent planning, scheduling, and reporting processesAnalyse performance data to improve scheduling efficiency and maintenance deliveryEnsure compliance with licensing and regulatory standards (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Gas, Water, IAW)Support operational teams with technical guidance and ensure statutory compliance is achieved You are a driven and strategic thinker with strong leadership capability and a passion for asset optimisation and continuous improvement.

You will bring:

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)Experience in asset management, maintenance, or facilities managementStrong knowledge of:Asset & work management practicesMaintenance planning and service deliveryAustralian Standards & OEM requirementsProven experience using CMMS / ERP systemsExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skillsWhat You’ll Demonstrate
