Job summary ABOUT THE ROLE As an Operational Trainer with Barchester, you'll make sure the people working in our care homes and independent mental health hospitals have the training they need to provide the best in person-centred care for our residents and patients. This is a home-based role that will see you travelling to different care homes and hospitals across a specific region to ensure that we always meet our high training standards. ABOUT YOUYou should have a minimum of a C&G 7300 (or equivalent), a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or experience of working in the care sector) and a good working knowledge of legislative requirements within the care industry. We'll also want to see some experience of training, coaching and mentoring others, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. With a flexible approach and a full, clean driving licence, you'll be comfortable working out in the field at our homes and hospitals (staying overnight if necessary) and undertaking shift patterns that include some evenings, weekends and early mornings we want to give everyone the best possible access to our training. Strong organisational skills and plenty of initiative are also essential.

Qualifications Essential
Minimum of a C&G 7300 (or equivalent), a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, good working knowledge of legislative requirements within the care industry, experience of training, coaching, and mentoring.
