Fabrication & Assembly Technician | Alameda, CA | $30-$50/hrWe are hiring a Fabrication & Assembly Technician for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity in Alameda, CA. This position will support the fabrication and assembly of large metal and plastic parts, components, and subassemblies. This is a strong opportunity for someone with experience in fabrication, mechanical assembly, prototype manufacturing, or related hands-on manufacturing environments.
What You'll Do
- Fabricate and assemble metal and plastic components.
- Cut, drill, trim, fit, bond, fasten, and finish parts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Fit and align larger components and assemblies.
- Follow drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
- Inspect completed work for fit, finish, dimensions, and overall quality.
- Identify and communicate defects or quality concerns.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
What We're Looking For
- Previous fabrication, mechanical assembly, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience working with metal and/or plastic parts.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read measurements and follow basic drawings or work instructions.
- Experience with larger components or assemblies is a plus.
- Prototype, medical device, precision manufacturing, metal fabrication, or plastics experience is a plus.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PMHours: 40 hours per weekLocation: Alameda, CAPay: $30.00-$50.00/hour, based on experience

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
