Job Description
You will be responsible for starting and shutting down plant equipment, performing maintenance, general clean-ups, making repairs, inspecting, and lubricating plant equipment. Your responsibilities will include checking conveyors, screens, and crushers, reporting any operating problems, and managing oversize product. Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a maintenance technician, heavy equipment mechanic, diesel mechanic, industrial mechanic, or repair technician preferred.
- Experience with hydraulic systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with diesel engines and mobile equipment is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant and quarry equipment.
- Capability to understand and follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience is beneficial.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in outdoor and indoor industrial environments.
Shift: The primary hours will be overnight 6pm-4am. However, there will be 2 months of training on Day Shift starting at 5am typically. During the months of January and February, they do Winter Maintenance and everyone in the plant works Day Shift for preventative maintenance & repairs. Why Work Here? Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62212.00 - $74692.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Up to $35.91/hr. depending on level of experience
