🔧 What You'll Be Doing
As a Reclaim / Scrap Operator, you'll help keep production running smoothly by recycling scrap material and supporting machine operators throughout the plant.
Daily Responsibilities
Recycle aluminum products that don't meet quality standards🔹 Remove protective film from aluminum sheets🔹 Operate reclaim equipment to separate reusable materials🔹 Support machine operators and production teams🧹 Maintain a clean and organized work area🦺 Follow all safety procedures and environmental guidelines🚜 Operate pallet jacks and material handling equipment🔧 Assist with machine cleaning and basic production support📋 Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures👷 Wear required PPE and maintain a safe work environment🤝 Cross-train in multiple production areas

Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable standing and moving throughout a 12-hour shift Ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs, and perform physical work Strong attendance and reliability Safety-focused mindset Willingness to learn and grow within the company💡 No manufacturing experience? Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yorktown, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
