About this role

As a Capture & Market Intelligence Manager, you will be part of our growing Bid & Proposal Management Center of Excellence, supporting Quantum Systems entities and sales teams globally. Quantum Systems is a multi-domain system house for unmanned technologies across air, land, sea and space. Together with our team in Germany and colleagues across our global entities, you will help expand our opportunity pipeline and build the market intelligence capabilities that support our growth. As we pursue ambitious growth targets, identifying relevant opportunities early and understanding the markets behind them becomes increasingly important.

Our expanding product portfolio and international footprint require a systematic approach to monitoring procurement activity, assessing market potential and translating customer, competitor and technology insights into action. You will help to further enhance and scale our global opportunity screening of public procurement portals and drive the qualification process, connecting Sales, Bid-management and subject matter experts worldwide. You will identify opportunities, analyze tender requirements and coordinate the assessments needed to decide which opportunities to pursue.

Working closely with Sales, you will support early positioning, the exploration of new markets and the preparation of qualified opportunities for Proposal Management. You will also establish a Market & Competitive Intelligence capability that combines external databases, procurement information and internal knowledge to drive decisions, developments and sales focus. Your analysis will help Sales prioritize opportunities, provide Management with decision support and give Product and Engineering insight into technical requirements, competitive development and capability gaps.

You will build the data structures, automated workflows and reporting formats that make these insights consistently available. We are looking for someone who can analyse complex information, understand technologies and customer needs, and identify where they create business opportunities. You enjoy building the methods, tools and workflows that help teams make informed decisions based on data and facts.
