About the role
As Intern Mechanical Design & Product Development, you will be a key part of our Droneport Team to develop innovative storage, charging, launch and landing capabilities for professional drones. Together with our Droneport Team, you will take an empowering role: pushing the boundaries of drone technologies. You will be working closely with stakeholders from the Droneport department to create a system, that protect drones from environmental influences and enables safe launch and landing. Enabling fully automated mission execution to Quantum-Systems - your mission will be a powerful impact. What is your Day to Day
Mission
Conduct market and patent research on competing products and technologies Support the mechanical development of innovative Droneport systems Create 3D CAD models and assemblies using CATIA V5 Generate manufacturing drawings and technical documentation Evaluate and select suitable materials and manufacturing processes Design components for additive manufacturing and prototype development Manufacture and assemble prototypes using in-house 3D printers Plan, execute, and document development-related tests and experiments
