Vertage is a new brand with a lot to say, and social is where much of it will be seen first. As Senior Social Media Manager, you own how Vertage and its leaders show up online. LinkedIn is the priority. Instagram and TikTok extend our reach to new audiences and future talent.
Your role
Your first priority is to build the profile of our new brand and the online presence of our executive leaders. You run the social presence across our brand and leadership channels, from the content calendar to the posts themselves. You decide what we say, in which format and when, and you work closely with communications, brand, talent and regional teams to keep it consistent. A large part of the role is working with senior leaders. You help them build a credible, recognisable presence on LinkedIn, and you turn their ideas into posts that sound like them. This is an individual role with a global remit. You work without a team, freelancers or agencies, so you are hands-on: you plan, write, design and edit. There is a budget for paid social and tools.
What you will do
- LinkedIn and leadership channels
- Lead our LinkedIn strategy across the company page, executive profiles and employee advocacy
- Shape leaders’ ideas into posts that sound like the person, not like a template
- Advise leaders on what to post, when to post it and when to stay quiet Content and channels
- Build and run the social calendar across brand and leadership channels, keeping timing, tone and messaging aligned
- Grow our presence on Instagram and TikTok, adapting content and tone to each channel
- Create graphics, carousels and short-form video, including edited clips, Reels and TikToks
- Plan social around launches, research releases, events and news moments Performance and brand protection
- Track results by channel, report monthly and change course when something is not working
- Monitor conversations and respond quickly and well
- Keep every post on voice and within our PR governance
