At DMN-WESTINGHOUSE we produce, assemble, test and inspect high-quality rotary valves for customers all over the world. The Production department is responsible for manufacturing, machining, assembling and inspecting products and components within the production environment. The department delivers high-quality end products and semi-finished products through machining, welding, grinding and blasting, and supporting production processes. The department works according to production schedules, technical drawings, quality guidelines, safety regulations and set work instructions. It focuses on an efficient, safe and reliable production process, with quality, delivery time and continuous improvement at its core.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Set up and change over machines.
- Independently prepare the machine for a new production order, including clamping materials and tools.
- Load the existing program and adjust the machine.
- Tool changes: recognising, checking and replacing blunt or defective cutters and drills.
- Read 2D and 3D drawings to check whether the product meets the requirements.
- Independently carry out in-process and final inspections.
- You start in day shifts and will later work in rotating shifts.
