Role Description
We are seeking a highly creative and visionary Director of UI/UX to lead the design and user experience strategy across all Caiz products and platforms. As a design leader, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing UI/UX team, defining design standards, and creating intuitive and beautiful digital experiences that make complex blockchain products accessible to a global audience.
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end design strategy for all digital products including wallets, dashboards, mobile apps, and web interfaces. Establish and maintain a consistent and scalable design system across products. Manage and mentor a team of UI/UX designers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing to deliver cohesive user experiences aligned with Caiz’s vision. Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to inform design decisions. Ensure accessibility, usability, and responsiveness across all platforms and devices. Advocate for user-centric design in cross-functional discussions and product roadmaps. Stay up-to-date with UI/UX trends, blockchain interface standards, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in UI/UX design with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role. Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design across mobile and web platforms. Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and responsive UI. Experience designing for blockchain, fintech, or complex data-driven applications is highly preferred. Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, and design system tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Requirements
Familiarity with Web3 interfaces, crypto wallets, DeFi platforms, or token-based economies. Experience working in Agile development environments. Knowledge of HTML/CSS for effective collaboration with developers. Understanding of Islamic finance principles is a plus.
