- You own the day-to-day finance operation, from invoicing and cash flow management to the monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
- In your first few months, you also help finalise the books so the annual accounts can be signed off.
- On top of that, you reconcile the payment flows and cost structures of various payment service providers (PSPs).
- You investigate discrepancies, check that costs have been charged correctly and make sure the financial information is reliable and transparent.

- Using Mechhive's in-house software, you analyse large, complex datasets that often go well beyond what a standard spreadsheet can handle.
- You turn trends and anomalies into reliable insights and reports that give management a clear view of performance, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- You also help translate new developments and integrations into efficient, scalable finance processes, thinking beyond the systems already in place.
- You are also a sparring partner for Sebastiaan (CEO).
- You assess the financial impact of new ideas and commercial decisions, and you are not afraid to push back when needed.
- Alongside this, you take on a wide range of issues, from contract reviews for the commercial team to strategic analyses.
