For a company based in Veurne, specialised in metalworking, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in various shift systems. Your responsibilities
- As a Maintenance Technician , you will support customers with their maintenance activities.
- You will mainly be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs and the replacement of spare parts on industrial installations.
- You are able to work independently and are skilled in assembling and dismantling mechanical components.
- You will mainly work as part of the customer's technical maintenance team, always respecting the safety regulations applicable on site.
- You are responsible for accurately completing work orders and providing daily reports to the internal department.
- You work autonomously and maintain good communication with the customer.
- You have strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot technical faults and defects.
- For this challenging position, you naturally need to have the right skills and experience.
- You have a strong ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL BACKGROUND , with at least 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician . You are flexible regarding work locations, as you will work at different sites on a project basis.
- You are open to working in shifts ( 2-shift system, day shifts or night shifts – NEGOTIABLE ).
- You are independent, eager to learn and not afraid of getting your hands dirty.
- You hold a valid category B driving licence and speak fluent DUTCH OR ENGLISH .
