Brentwood County High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Music to join our dynamic and supportive team from September 2026.

As a Music Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring a love for music in our students. Your role will involve teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 preparing students for both GCSE and A-Level examinations and contributing to extra-curricular music activities.

You will be working alongside experienced Head of Departments and supportive Senior Leadership Teams (SLT), fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate musician interested in educating our future musicians to make a meaningful impact and join a vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality music lessons that engage and motivate students.Develop and implement a curriculum that caters to diverse learning needs.Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.Organise and lead school concerts, performances, and other musical events.Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities.BCHS is a Co-operative Academy which is firmly rooted in serving our community.
