We have a vacancy for several enthusiastic, flexible and committed Teaching Assistants to join our all-through school (2-16 years). This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing team and provide outstanding learning for our children. Whilst we appreciate that all colleagues at St John's typically specialise in a particular phase or age group, all staff recognise that working in an all-through school may, at times, require them to support across both the Primary and Secondary Sites. We are looking for a teaching assistants who:
have excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills
have high expectations for all children and a strong belief that all children can flourish
demonstrate an ability to nurture and support all pupils, including those with complex learning, emotional or other needs
are committed to ensuring all pupils make excellent progress and model our school values and ethos in all that they do
have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to communicate well (and work successfully with) colleagues, parents and pupils
