We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our team of Learning Support Assistants. Aylsham Learning Federation has a strong record of supporting students with SEN and this role makes a valuable contribution to this. You will play a vital role in actively working to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of students in the classroom. This will involve establishing good relationships with pupils and responding appropriately to individual needs. Our Learning Support Assistants work flexibly across both Bure Valley School and John of Gaunt Infant and Nursery School and this could include working across both settings in one day. Working 3 days per week, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
The post holder should have good literacy and numeracy skills, the ability to relate well with children and adults, work on their own initiative and possess good basic ICT skills. Experience of working with young people aged five to eleven is an advantage, however full training will be provided. Part time applicants will be considered.
