About this role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reflective and highly motivated teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at Anton Infant School from September 2026.

We recognise the many rewarding opportunities that come with working in an infant school, which is why teachers work closely with year group partners to plan and collaborate together, so you are always supported. The successful candidate will:

Be an inspirational teacher with the ability to motivate all children. Be passionate about making a difference to the learning outcomes of every child. Have high aspirations for all children and believe that every child has the potential to succeed. Have a strong understanding of effective assessment strategies, including the use of AfL, to meet the learning needs of all pupils. Be able to use data and assessment effectively to positively impact pupil progress. Be committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for all children. Be able to deliver a high-quality, broad, balanced and engaging curriculum across all areas of learning. Be innovative and proactive, demonstrating creative ideas to support the development of an enriched and vibrant curriculum that reflects our school values. Have the ability to plan effectively to meet the needs of all groups of pupils, demonstrating consistently high expectations and standards. Understand behaviour as a form of communication and use a range of positive strategies to promote excellent behaviour for learning. Show a willingness to participate fully in school life, including extra-curricular activities and community events. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and work effectively as part of a forward-thinking team. Be a reflective practitioner who is open to new initiatives and continuous improvement. Be fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
