Your role:
As a SEND Class Teacher within our Explorer Provision, you will play a vital role in shaping meaningful learning experiences for pupils with complex needs, including autism and significant learning difficulties. You will lead teaching across high-needs classrooms, ensuring every pupil is both supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.
You will design and deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes, using specialist strategies such as Attention Autism and Intensive Interaction. Your classroom will be a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where pupils feel secure, valued and inspired to participate fully in school life.
Working closely with support staff, families and external agencies, you will build strong relationships that enable every child to thrive socially, emotionally and academically. You will also contribute to a culture of high expectations, modelling outstanding practice, guiding colleagues, and helping to ensure consistency and excellence across the provision.
We are looking for a qualified teacher who brings a strong understanding of SEND and inclusive teaching practice, with experience in delivering personalised, student-centred learning. You will be skilled in assessment, planning and adapting learning to meet a wide range of needs, and confident in creating an environment where every child feels confident and motivated. A passion for inclusion, the ability to build meaningful relationships, and a commitment to continual professional development are essential.
