MINIMUM SKILLS/JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalency, preferred two years of post secondary training, graduation from a recognized college with a relevant associate degree.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience (three years within past five years) in Student Services is preferred.
Demonstrated effective communication skills: oral and written. Must possess the ability to deal with confidential information and to interact in a pleasant manner at all times with the varied public.
Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, including filing records.
Demonstrated skill in data processing with preferred software and system knowledge – Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and DASL.
Experience with or knowledge of Preschool programming.
Experience with or knowledge of specialized Student Services programs, including Home Instruction, English Language Learners, Open Enrollment, and Homeless student support.
Support families with enrollment and educational processes.
Proficiency in administrative processing for records requests, transcripts, and purchase orders.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive documentation regarding student discipline and expulsions.
