Position Function/Purpose
Makes deliveries to all schools. Assists other warehouse personnel and Warehouse
Foreman in performing assigned tasks in the Warehouse.

Major Responsibilities
As Warehouse/Delivery Person
- 1. Properly receive and store Food Service Department Equipment, USDA Commodities, food
and supplies.
- 2. Accurately complete receiving reports and delivery sheets
- 3. Maintain an accurate perpetual warehouse inventory
- 4. Ensure proper stock rotation
- 5. Keep the warehouse stock in a neat and orderly manner
- 6. Load trucks and deliver to schools
- 7. Keep a temperature log for refrigerator/freezer units
- 8. Perform other such duties as may be assigned by the Warehouse Foreman

Qualification Requirements
Minimum Certification/Education
- 1. High School Diploma or GED
- 2. Valid Texas Driver License and acceptable driving record; must adhere to Midland ISD's
vehicle safety and use program
Special Knowledge/Skills
- 1. Must possess the ability to work effectively with people
- 2. Must be able to read and write English.
- 3. Must possess or be able to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 4. Must be able to lift objects in excess of 100 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying
objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
