The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District is seeking registered nurses interested in substituting for half or full days for the 2026-27 school year in 1 of our 5 buildings.
Requirements
- Valid state license to practice as a registered nurse
- Certificate as public school nurse or any other certificate required by the state
Primary roles and Essential Functions of this nurse includes:
- Administer first aid and medications
- Update & maintain accurate health records
- Observe students to detect health needs
- Assume authority, in the absence of a physician, for the care of a student or staff member who has suffered injury or emergency illness
- Facilitate normal development and positive student response to nursing interventions
- Promote health & safety
Daily Rate: $165.00
