Plant Maintenance Technician @ OPS

Join Crane Authentication in Malta as a Plant Maintenance Technician I and play a key role in keeping our production equipment and infrastructure operating at peak performance. Working within our Engineering team, you will support business operations through preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to safety, quality and operational excellence.

What you will be doing

• Carrying out breakdown repairs and maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
• Performing preventative maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities according to established schedules and procedures.
• Updating machine status and communicating equipment performance and issues to the Maintenance Shift Leader.
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment across electrical, electronic, mechanical systems.
• Reading and interpreting schematic diagrams, technical drawings and equipment documentation.
• Supporting the installation and commissioning of machinery and infrastructure systems.
• Completing maintenance documentation, work dockets and system updates accurately.
• Contributing to workplace safety through risk assessments, permit-to-work systems and adherence to safety procedures.

What we are looking for

• MQF level 5 in mechanical/electrical or any other engineering field or higher.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across mechatronics systems.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• English language proficiency at C1 level or above.
• Ability to work safely, assess risks and follow procedures.
• Strong teamwork, communication and continuous improvement mindset.
• Electrical Installation Authorisation B would be considered an asset.
