ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A PACKAGING DEPARTMENT OPERATOR.
- (1) Product Packaging: Prepare, wrap, and pack finished products according to quality and safety standards.
- (2) Loading and Unloading: Place materials on pallets, racks, or trucks for transport or storage.
- (3) Order Verification: Ensure products and quantities match sales orders or shipping documents.
- (4) Labeling and Documentation: Attach labels, print shipping tickets, and complete required paperwork.
- (5) Inventory Handling: Record incoming and outgoing materials in the system and release inventory when customers pick up orders.
- (6) Customer Interaction: Coordinate with sales staff or customers regarding pick-ups and deliveries.
- (7) Safety Compliance: Use personal protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.) and follow workplace safety rules.
- (8) Waste Disposal: Place scrap or waste materials in designated containers.
- (9) General Support: Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to maintain workflow
- (10) Professional Conduct and Respect: Always interact with coworkers in a respectful and professional manner.
