Pay Rate: Pay Range: $20 - $20.50 per hour (Depending on years of experience)

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll build trusted relationships and provide personalized support that honors each person's strengths, choices, and goals. At Gallagher Services - a Catholic Charities program, we believe that every person deserves a life filled with meaning, independence, and relationships that matter. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who values people for who they are and is excited to walk alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they engage in the activities they love and pursue their goals.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday 3 PM - 11 PM
A Day in the Life
You'll spend your days assisting with care to a group of people who enjoy:
- Assist with Crafts/games, Card and puzzles Going out to eat
- Outing in the Community to the Movies, Music Events & Bowling
This group is looking for someone who is kind, dependable, a good communicator, and most of all—someone who enjoys spending time with them. If you're someone who takes joy in building real connections and being present in the moment, you'll thrive here.
How You'll Support
- We will need help with bathing, help with Tooth brushing, using the bathroom and cleaning ourselves, making our beds and cleaning our bedroom, cooking.
- Help promote independence
- Be polite and patience
- Keep clear, respectful records to ensure continuity of care and support
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points
- Comfortable driving agency vehicles and assisting people who use wheelchairs
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide physical assistance when needed
- Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)
