About this role
The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and highly motivated Deputy Head Teacher who will also undertake a class teaching commitment. This role would suit either an experienced senior leader or an exceptional teacher ready to take the next step into leadership, with the ability to make a significant contribution to the strategic development of the school, while continuing to model outstanding classroom practice.
Due to the leadership responsibilities of the role, this is a full-time position only. On this occasion, we are unable to consider applications from candidates seeking part-time or flexible working arrangements.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the leadership of teaching and learning across the schoolActing as a Designated Safeguarding LeadLeading areas of school improvement, including curriculum and assessmentPromoting high standards of achievement, behaviour and wellbeingUndertaking a class teaching commitment • Leading curriculum subjects and supporting subject leadersWorking closely with the SENCo to ensure inclusive practice for all pupils
