We are now looking for a Solicitor to join our growing Environment & Planning practice in Tāmaki Makaurau.
The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing practice and play a part in shaping its future.
Working closely with Partner Natalie Summerfield, you will gain exposure to a broad range of resource management, environmental and planning matters.
As the practice continues to grow, you will also have the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility, develop strong client relationships and contribute to building the team's profile and presence in the Auckland market.
For someone looking to build a long-term career in environment and planning law, this is a chance to get involved, work closely with an experienced Partner and make a genuine contribution to a growing practice.
About you
We are interested in hearing from lawyers who are curious, motivated and keen to develop their career in Environment & Planning.
Ideally, you will bring
- 1–3 years' post-qualification experience with Resource management, environment or planning law;
- or a background in property law, with a particular focus on mid to large scale property development work with a strong interest in developing a specialist career in resource management, environment and planning law.
- strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
- are proactive, curious and enthusiastic about developing their expertise in this area and you will enjoy taking ownership of your work, building relationships, and contributing to the development of growing practice.
