About The Role This part-time 0.6 post is available from 01 June 2026 as a fixed term contract and is funded by GAMRIF FAILSAFE project until 31 March 2027. Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager.

The salary will be from £43,482 - £46,049 (pro rata per annum) on Grade F subject to knowledge, skills and experience.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. About you

We are looking for a Contracts Officer to work within the Legal Team and alongside other members of Professional Services to ensure the provision of an effective contractual negotiation and administrative function to the University, covering a range of activities primarily relating to the University’s externally funded research activities. We wish to recruit someone who is experienced with contracts and contractual negotiations, organised and enthusiastic with an eye for detail to work within to a busy team working on commercial, research and education matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently within a supportive team.
