About this role
Job location: Charlotte, NC.
Duties
- Design, develop, test and deploy software applications using Java, Spring Boot and Ruby on Rails to support ecommerce systems.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms like PIM, Salsify, Rithum, etc. using REST APIs.
- Deploy, monitor and maintain applications on cloud platforms including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Heroku.
- Investigate and resolve production issues through debugging, root-cause analysis and corrective code implementation.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines and CI/CD practices using Git, Jira, Jenkins and confluence to ensure reliable software delivery.
- Lead the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation.
- Requires: B.S. degree (or foreign equiv.) in Comp.
- Sci., Eng. or related field & 5 yrs. exp. in job offered or 5 yrs. exp. as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
- Concurrent exp. must incl: 5 yrs. exp. designing and developing applications using Java, Spring Boot and Ruby on Rails; and 5 yrs. exp. with REST.
