Help keep apprenticeship programmes running accurately and smoothly for learners based at Worthy Down. You will combine detailed administration, learner support, systems work and customer service in a close-knit team. Also known in the market as: Apprenticeship Administrator; Learner Records Coordinator; Training Programme Coordinator; Education Operations Administrator.

About the Role

Pearson TQ is looking for an Apprenticeship Coordinator to support the coordination and administration of apprenticeship programmes for Army learners at Worthy Down.

This is a varied, detail-focused role. You will prepare and process learner documentation, keep records and systems current, support learner inductions, coordinate qualification activity and make sure files remain audit ready. You will work closely with another site coordinator, apprenticeship coaches, quality colleagues and customer contacts.

You do not need previous experience of Maytas, OneFile or the apprenticeship sector to be considered. We are looking for strong administration, IT, communication and organisational capability, plus the confidence and curiosity to learn specialist systems and processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare, check and process documentation for apprenticeship learners.
  • Support and conduct learner inductions and programme sign-ups.
  • Process apprenticeship starts, reviews, achievements, withdrawals, leavers and related paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate learner data in Maytas, OneFile and supporting electronic or paper records.
  • Coordinate bookings, registrations, functional skills activity and qualification administration.
  • Process and distribute certificates, maintaining appropriate electronic and hard-copy records.
  • Keep learner files audit ready and support archive and audit activity.
  • Respond to learner and customer queries and work positively with coaches, quality colleagues and other stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven administration and organisational experience.
  • Confidence in a customer-facing role and commitment to a positive customer experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel for handling and reporting data.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to prioritise competing tasks and complete work to deadline.
  • Confidence learning new systems and following detailed processes.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for regular attendance at Worthy Down.
  • Experience of an MIS or e-portfolio system is helpful but not essential.
  • Training-provider, awarding-organisation, Ofsted or ESFA funding experience is helpful but not essential.

Location & Working Pattern

This is an on-site role at Worthy Down, near Winchester, with some opportunities to work from home. As Worthy Down is a military site with limited transport links, you will need a driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Why Join Pearson?

You will join a small, supportive team where accurate administration directly contributes to a positive learner experience and the successful delivery of apprenticeship programmes. The role offers the opportunity to build specialist knowledge of apprenticeship operations, learner data, audit requirements and programme reporting.
