The Role

Gonville & Caius College is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join its Dining Services team as Catering Supervisor. The Catering Supervisor’s purpose is to promote and run an efficient and professional front of house catering service to members of College, external and conference customers.

As a supervisor, you will oversee a dedicated, organised team of permanent and casual members of staff. You will work as part of a team in the organisation and delivery of quality service and support the running of daily business which includes student dining, College feasts and conference dinners. You will have experience of providing excellent customer service as a supervisor, attention to detail and the ability to provide all types of services in a friendly and welcoming manner. Gonville & Caius College prides itself on the reputation it has gained for its excellent food, bar and service standards. This is a permanent, full-time contract. The hours of work are 40 hours per week (worked over 5 out of 7 days). The annual FTE salary is £30,051.
